PMBA Mountain Bike 8 - 80 Group Ride -

This ride is appropriate for novice to advanced riders from 8* to 80 years old. Families with children are especially encouraged to join us. We divide ourselves into riding groups for A, B, C, and Toodle Rides.

Ride Prerequisites: Each individual must complete a liability release form, perform an equipment check on your bicycle, and disclose any medical concerns prior to participating in any PMBA group ride. Please inquire with the ride host for more information.

Meet at:

the parking lot where Trail 332 crosses Iron Springs Rd. It is 1.3 miles beyond the junction of Iron Springs and Granite Basin Rd. Just before the paved “Y” to the parking on the left, you will see a big road-cut and a “50 mph” sign on the right side of Iron Springs Rd. That will be the 2nd “50 mph” sign after Granite Basin Rd. Parking is free. There are no restrooms at this location.

We ride for 1-1/2 to 2 hours, then enjoy visiting and snacks. PMBA provides after-ride drinks. Snacks are pot-luck, so please bring something tasty to share.

Bring:

your mountain bike, helmet, a pack with water, spare tube and tire pump, and clothing appropriate for the weather.

*You will need a parent permission signature if you are under 18 years old. If you are coming without a parent, please email 8to80rides@gmail.com for the form, print it, have a parent sign and date it, and bring with you. If you are less than 14 years old, please bring an adult who will ride with you.
