PMBA Mountain Bike 8 - 80 Group Ride

PMBA 8 to 80 Ride at White Rock Trailhead (aka The Painted Rock)

4:00 pm group photo. The ride begins immediately following.

This ride is appropriate for novice to advanced riders from 8* to 80 years old. Families with children are especially encouraged to join us. We divide ourselves into riding groups for A, B, C, and Toodle Rides.

Meet at:

The White Rock TH. Leave Prescott on Gurley Street toward Thumb Butte and continue on that road as it turns into Thumb Butte Rd. This parking area is about 1.5 miles beyond the Thumb Butte picnic area. The road is now paved all the way to the TH and beyond. The TH is a large gravel lot on the right side of the road. Parking is free. There is no restroom at this location.

This area has access to a wide variety of trails, including the new and fun both ways Garden Party Trail. Loops may be combined for a ride suitable for any skill and endurance.

We ride for 1-1/2 to 2 hours, then enjoy visiting and snacks. PMBA provides after-ride drinks. Snacks are pot-luck.

Bring:

your mountain bike, helmet, a pack with water, spare tube and tire pump, and clothing appropriate for the weather.

If you are coming without a parent, please email 8to80rides@gmail.com for the form, print it, have a parent sign and date it, and bring with you. If you are less than 14 years old, please bring an adult who will ride with you.
